Buenos Aires Beach has beach umbrellas, beach chairs, inflatable games, football (soccer) fields, beach volley courts, live bands, magic shows, reading areas and many more attractions for you to have the best fun, for free!

The beaches are close to urban neighborhoods, located in different parks in town: Parque Las Heras, Plaza Roque Sáenz Peña, Parque Rivadavia, Plaza de las Naciones Unidas, Plaza Boedo, Plaza Almagro y Plaza Monte Castro.


All beaches will be open from tuesday to sunday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.


Toys invade Buenos Aires!
Until february 25, the City Museum (el Museo de la Ciudad) invites you to know a wide variety of toys. An exhibition that works as a vehicle to express the fantasies of the youngest.

The City Museum was able to gather, across the years, a wide variety of toys that express not only a key aspect of porteño's life, but also allows a particular view of the history of the city. The world of toys has, besides it recreational essence, an approach to the social and economic means in which they are developed. The toys, seen as vehicles to express the fantasies of the children, their learning and their connection with the world, didn't escape from the cultural standards of the moment when they were made.

LA BOMBA DE TIEMPO

Like every Monday, the bomb in the Konex from 19 pm.

The phenomenon that every week for over four years and calls for a crowd of people and creates a real party. "La Bomba de Teimpo" (Time Bomb, in english) is a group formed by leading drummers drumming in the direction of Santiago Vazquez. The musicians practiced improvisation directed and use a system of about 70 signs made ​​with the hands, fingers and body.

Each concert is unique and unpredictable as it depends on the interaction of all involved in the ritual: the musicians, the director, the audience, venue, acoustics, instruments, weather and time.

The music of the drums is added every Monday to improvise a different guest: The Monkey Spasiuk, Liliana Herrero, Javier Malosetti, Lito Vitale and Dante Spinetta are some of the figures who have shared the stage with La Bomba de Tiempo.

The Planetarium "Galileo Galilei" of the Ministry of Culture, Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires opens its doors completely renovated in technology. The house where Carlos Gardel lived and his mother, located in the traditional neighborhood of Supply, has been recovered by the Directorate General of Museums for the purpose of turning it into a museum to rescue, preserve, exhibit and disseminate the cultural heritage citizen represents the work of Gardel.

Carlos Gardel was a singer, songwriter and actor naturalized Argentine , considered the most important tango in the first half of the twentieth century . According to researchers born in Toulouse , France , on December 11th of 1890 , and, according to others, was born in Tacuarembo , Uruguay , on December 11th of 1887 , living since his childhood in Buenos Aires . He died on June 24th of 1935 in Medellin , Colombia , in a plane crash . In 2003 , proposed by the government of Uruguay , Gardel's voice has been recorded by the Unesco in the program Memory of the World , dedicated to the preservation of heritage documents.
